Race circuit design, location, and flow

The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be held at the Las Vegas Strip. It’s an excellent racetrack where famous landmarks in Las Vegas will be visible like the iconic Caesar’s Palace. Did you know that it was the name of the race back in 1982? This was the last time an F1 race was here in the Neon City.

The design and location of the racetrack are probably of top calibre, befitting the prestige of this annual racing event. The circuit spans 3.803 miles (6.120 km) and has 17 corners, along with a straight that is 1.181 miles (1.900 km) long.

The race flow is counterclockwise beginning at an old parking lot. This area undergoes redevelopment for pits, a paddock area, and a permanent track. The initial turn is a sharp hairpin, a slight left turn, then another rapid right turn leading to a permanent circuit to the streets of Las Vegas.

The speedy race cars will go up to 0.50 miles (0.8 km) at the Koval Lane and then will make a 90-degree right turn. They will then take a long sweeping left turn encircling the MSG Sphere arena. It will then take another left-right twist at the section, and a faster-left turn coursing to Sands Avenue.

These will be the initial main tracks, and other special circuits will soon follow.
